The Ladders Co-ed League

2025 League Play may start Friday, June 6th.  Our schedule will be published in February.

The Ladders Doubles League - co-ed style!  Everyone competes at their own level – from middle-schoolers with one season of experience up to Division 1 college beach players and adults thru their 20's.

SCHEDULE: Fridays from June 7th through July 26th (excluding July 5th). This is seven weeks of play, minus any rain-outs. Each team will play during an assigned two-hour windows from 4PM to 8PM.  Times can change throughout the season depending on how the team performs.  Stronger teams play later.

ATTENDANCE: It is fine to miss two or three weeks (with notice), since subs are permitted when a player can’t attend and teams can take a "free pass".

COST: Venmo $105/player to SNHsandvolleyball (6199). Include "Co-ed League" and player's name in Notes section.  If Venmo is not possible, contact Len for other options.

REGISTRATION: Register below or at https://bit.ly/2024RegCo-ed. Sign up as a team of two, but register individually. Preferably find your own partner from a club or school team, but if needed, I can help. You don't have to have your partner identified to sign up.

REQUIREMENTS: Middle school, high school, college player or adults in their 20s, with at least one season of indoor, beach or grass experience. Others on an exception basis.

LADDER FORMAT: Three rungs (courts) of competition each week from 6 to 8PM. Each rung consists of a three to five-team pool. Each team plays three to four games each week. The top finisher in each rung moves up to the next rung the following week; the bottom team drops to the next lower rung. This occasionally involves a time-change.

PLAY FORMAT: Alternating weeks between co-ed (men's net with everyone eligible to hit and block at the net) and reverse co-ed (women's net with men having to jump from behind the three-meter line and men cannot block.)  NOTE: We may switch to a reverse co-ed "women's net" every week this year.

COMPETITION LEVEL: Teams in the top rung typically have current or future college indoor players. Three players have gone on to play Division 1 College Beach Volleyball!  Players in the lowest pool can serve with some consistency and maintain some rallies.
